Broken Shoes

I had a bad experience with Edgar’s I bought a pair of shoes last year December I wear them once, I wear them again last week Monday they are broken when i call Edgar’s in Century City in Cape Town where I bought the shoe they want a slip😔😔I told them that I lost my slip they say they can’t help me….please guys assist me what must I do in this situation??
