<p>My wife has an Edgars account with an outstanding Balance and Monthly instalments of approx. R 114.</p> <p>A few months ago, multiple additional items were added to her account without her knowledge.</p> <p>There is now an amount of more than R 900 for (Funeral Cover, Personal Accident insurance, Family provider plan, Hospital cash back, Edgars legal plan).</p> <p>When we reported the matter, the agent on the phone was extremely rude and only said that the matter is being investigated.</p> <p>There is no voice recording of any call or any document signed to accept such additional services.</p> <p>This is not acceptable . This is ****************.</p> <p> </p>
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, please be advised all products have been cancelled on your wife’s account and a reversal was done for the respected amount, this will reflect on her November 2016 statement.

It is extremely unfortunate that one needs to resort to posting complaints on platforms like hellopeter.com in order to get some sort of reponce from Edgars.
Are you aware of the fact that this has now been posted on her credit profile as a bad payer because of your incompetence? She cannot access credit anywhere because of the so called account in arrears.
This is just too little too late. Once the account is fully paid. She will close her account and i have advised her to never, ever buy any item from Edgars.
I will make sure that i spread the word as well.
