Beware Before Opening an Edgars Account!

I had a really frustrating experience with Edgars that I feel people need to know about. I opened an account with them, paid it off in full, and thought everything was settled. But recently, I checked my credit report and was shocked to find an enquiry from Edgars listed there. Apparently, they do this with many of their previous customers, even after accounts are paid off and closed. This is a huge red flag for anyone trying to maintain a healthy credit score.

It feels incredibly dishonest that they’re making these inquiries without any clear explanation, and it’s caused unnecessary damage to my credit score. If you’re considering opening an account with them, I would strongly advise against it. There are plenty of other stores with better customer service and more transparent credit practices.

Be cautious before signing up with Edgars—they clearly don’t value their customers’ credit health.
