Being kept in a contract out your will.
A few months (from around February) ago I kept receiving airtime for free and I did not know where it came from. Then a few weeks later I tried to check my vodacom points and I had no talking points balance. I called vodacom to find out why and they told me that I had a contract with Edgars or RCMS. I have no clue as to how it came about. They gave me a number that I should call so that they Edgars can cancel the contract.
I have been calling them ever since (around March) but they won't cancel the contract. I even walked to Edgars myself to go and cancel the contract. I've walked to the shop five times already and they keep promising to call and they just will not call me back.
I need legal advise with regards to this matter because I cannot be forced into a contract without my consent. I don't even know how I became a part of it but now I must run after Edgars so that they can cancel this stupid contract. What about my airtime that gets wasted while I call them? Waste of my time going to Edgars every week? It's nonsense that I should be part of a contract without my will.
