becareful of shoplifters in edgars eastgate store

hi.my family n i went shopping to edgars eastgate on the 13 june 2015 at 130pm,my daughter was pushing a pram with my baby inside in the infants department,a gentleman blocked her movement and pickpocketed her of her cellphone,she immeditely realised it and her mum followed the suspect as he dropped his so called shopping goods and sprinted out of the store in her chasing after him,ita a suprise no security was present at that moment at the door while she was screaming,n lost him at escalators as theres alot of construction there.we approached a mr joseph dep manager who informed there cctv colleagues to check on there cams.5 min later another mom came to report the same incident to him as well her cellphone and car keys were taken.after 2 hours of checking and viewing the cams,staff says that this a continuos problem in there store and identified the ******** as 'scars' as they know him but they can never catch him<br> how safe are we as consumers coming to purchase in this store when they ars aware of this type of ********* operating in there store<br> are they not to inform customers of how unsafe it ease to shop there with the lack of security<br> is there any way to claim from edgars <br>
