Bad service/experience with edgars

I bought shoes at edgars menlyn in September 2021. They were for someone, the problem is they are different sizes in the box size 8 and 9 and I've lost proof of purchase. I'm really frustrated with the service I got when I called the customer service and they told me exchange /return policy says within 7days really 😏I don't want a refund I want exchange, what am I going to do with these shoes please help me 😬😬
