Bad customer service

I bought some clothes for my daughter at Edgars East rand mall and my sister bought her the same one so i took it to Festival mall Edgars and i was told they cant give me a refund i must take it where i bought it for a refund which is so ridiculous because i work for retail i've never had such thing im working in retail i dont have time to go to East rand mall because by the time i knock off they are closed so what must i do now this is so inconveniencing for customers its the same company so why cant you do refunds in other stores now i have to run around to get a simple refund ?? Bad service
