Avoid at all times

Edgars is the worst company ever !!!!!! Never open a account. When you sign that contract, you will be signing your soul to the devil. I had a Edgar's account since 2016. Paid my account every month. Sometime I wouldn't even buy on the account and would buy cash in store. When covid happend, during the lockdown period I opted for a debit order. Edgars then moved to RCS. RCS took between R200 and R300 off of my account every month, double the installment amount. Then I thought oky they getting their money. When lockdown was lifted and things went back to normal Edgar's phoned me to say I'm behind on my payments. I did query numerous times, with screenshots of the amounts that was taken where RCS used my edgars account number as a reference, to show that payments was made and RSC dit take funds. Edgars still to date has not responded to that and never investigated. It's like they just ignored me. I left it and paid my account in store and all of a sudden RCS stop taking money off of my account after I emailed numerous times querying. When I count all the amounts RCS took it comes down to about R2500, that is more than what my account limit is of R1500. I settled my account beginning of April 2024. And now they say I owe them R102 for club that I never signed up for. So tell me, would you still open a account at edgars? They are the worst. And when you go to the stores accounts department the staff will tell you you need to call this and that department. It is just a struggle. In actual fact, edgars owes me money. So my advice is. Rather pay with cash or card and avoid at all times to open a account from edgars. You will for ever have problems. EDGARS WHY ARE YOU STILL OPEN ???????????????
