Thursday the 30th of April I bought 2 pairs of Stockings at Edgars the George branch Hibernia Street. I went to their shelves looking for Mexican Silver Stockings Extra Shine, Unfortunately the socks were upside down other packets were opened. Unfortunately I made the wrong choice instead of taking Extra Shine I took Extra Sheer I noticed that when I get home, I didn't open the package I said to my self I will ask for exchange or refund Monday because Friday was public holiday, This morning first thing I have to take my packets of stockings to Edgars Hibernia and I was helped by a branch manager Victor who told me I cant return under wear. To my surprise I tried to explain the incident and trying to show him that both packets were not open as there was no need to open the packet I saw from the outside that is not what I want, I left my packets of stockings and till slip to Victor because if they cant exchange or return then Edgars must take socks and my R80.00 back if that's the way they deal with their businesses, Not happy at all with their service because they don't even have what I want on their stock. Bad service

Kindly be advised that we have communicated with the Store Manager of Edgars George, who in turn has advised on the reasons for your exchange request being declined. Please be advised that our terms and conditions do state that for an exchange to be granted, the item to be exchanged must be in its original and resalable condition, within the 30 period and accompanied by the proof of purchase.
The Store Manager has advised that the product you require to exchange was not in its original condition and therefore we are unable to assist. Please also note that we also do not exchange products that are regarded as underwear, for hygiene purposes.
We can however assure you that the concerns you have raised with us regarding the layout of the department that keeps the stockings, have been forwarded to the Store Management to address.
