After giving Edgars Death certificate three times, Edgars now given over for bad debt
My mother Mrs BW Calitz had an Account with Edgars (Account Number ***). She unfortunately passed away on 6th December 2015. My sister and I personally went into Edgars The Glen in December 2015 and reported her death and we was told that they have made a note on the system. I was also given some forms which I had to fill in and bring back with other documents e.g. copy of her ID, Death Certificate etc. I filled in all forms and handed it in together with all required documents at Edgars The Glen on 28 January 2016 and dealt with Kabelo. We then received another call in February 2016 requesting payment on her account and we informed them again that she passed away on 6th December 2015 and send another copy of her ID and Death Certificate. We had now received a letter that her account has been handed over for debt recovery and that she had been reported to the Credit Bureaux. Can Someone COMPETENT please sort this out as we have reported her death 3 times and send copies of her death certificate on 3 different occasions. Kind Regards Mrs B W Helberg
