account paid up but still was handed over to the lawyers
In September 2017 I made a payment as I was offered a discount on my account, I paid R2800 and went to ask for a paid up letter, I was told that I will receive it in 7 days time, I am still waiting for the paid up letter, and now I receive a message that my account was handed over to the lawyers and its now the 16-10-2019 they are telling me that I have to pay R1500, this is ridiculous.

06 Nov 2019, 12:32I am still waiting for the feedback as from last month, the MBD consultants are still calling me and its annoying knowing that I have made the payment, it seems as I am going to wait as long as I have waited for the paid up letter, this is a really poor service I don't see myself buying or having any EDCON store account from this day going forward, when I call to enquirer they keep passing me from one consultant to the other this is so uncalled for

13 Nov 2019, 10:43I just got off from a call now with the EDCON consultant, which I was the one who took initiative to call since is affecting my credit reputation, I was told to hold for them to check my account it has been 11 minutes since i was on the line and still the is not progress.
