Account issue

Edgars is the worst retail shop ever. Do not ever open an account with them it will cost you dearly. I had an account with edgars. They handed my account over but I settled the account in January 2019. After speaking to Edgars who claimed the account is closed I phoned the debt collectors to notify them. They however want a paid up letter. since January 2019 I have been trying to get a paid up letter from Edgars but no luck. The debt collectors has started phoning my father - I notified them not to but they still do - and this morning he received a sms stating they are proceeding with legal action. I phoned them once again and I phoned Edgars. Thandi the lady at Edgars was *********** and only said they will request the paid up letter they will not phone the debt collectors. I phoned the debt collectors asking them to phone Edgars they refuse to do this. How am I supposed to sort out this account if VVM debt collectors as well as Edgars is ****** ***********! I will go to lawyers myself now and all cost will be for Edgars

To anyone out there do not ever open up an Edgars account!!!!
