Account closed but still shows active and arrears

My account was closed in 2013 but received bills from Edgars and eventually they settled and closed the account of R56 in Sept this year after numerous emails and calls to them.Today I found out they oppened the account again and it is in arrears for R56.My credit application has been denied because of this and I want answer****perian said they removed it but dont know why Edgars oppened it again.This is very unprofessional

I need this off my credit profile ASAP please see to it because this matter was already closed in 2013 and it is messing up my credit profile.A gift voucher will ease some of the pain and suffering.
