ABSA Now Charging an Admin Fee and Interest on Edgars Account - Close Your Accounts
<p>Boy are consumers not getting tired of continually being taken to the cleaners. Now Edgars introduces a monthly admin fee to pay on top of high prices and interest on their accounts. Your sms this morning tries to justify a discounted admin fee of R22.80 as opposed to the R60 allowed. Wow, whose idiotic marketing idea was that. Really, I sincerely hope the public close their accounts but probably won't and will just pay another fee.</p> <p> </p> <p>People who keep their accounts up to date have to subsidise non-payers. Sad story because Edgars and Absa make bad credit decisions. What a poor business decision by both Absa and Edgars to financially **** the consumer again.</p>
