6 weeks to repair a faulty phone

I took my Huawei cell phone that I bought from Edgar's about 6 months ago in as it stopped working. The phone has a 2 year warranty and is also insured. I was told that the phone needs to be sent for repairs and this will take 6 weeks. I don't understand how it can take almost 2 months to get the problem resolved. I now have to purchase another phone to get by while I wait for a repair that takes longer than the building of the pyramids. I will not buy another Huawei phone or any phone from Edgar's if this is the sort of after sales service I can expect.
