20 % Discount? Not This Time
20% sale on shoes for the weekend of the 20 June 2015. Only to find the shoes are marked up from R499.00 to R699.00 .<br> Went to the store on the 21st, to find every pair of shoes was marked up and the cheaper price hidden poorly by a black coloured marker.<br> Sent and email complaint on the 22 June 2015, to date no answer.<br> reference number ***/S.G.N.

Thank you for raising your concerns with us. Please be advised Edgars has increased prices on selected merchandise due to rising fuel cost and inflation. This required Edgars to re-ticket merchandise during the course of the trading season. Price increases were implemented well ahead of the Edgars promotional activities. Therefore the perception that price increases were implemented just prior to promotion, is incorrect and any confusion created was not at all intended
