Appalling treatment given to pensioner.

Good day.

My mother was admitted to Edenvale hospital on Monday for an operation. The operation seemed to be a success as we visited her yesterday, and she seemed fine although sore which is to be expected. Today however, her stomach is so swollen, and she looks absolutely terrible. The doctor that makes his rounds during visiting hours never even bothered to check in on her and apparently she has not been fed since she was booked in. Is this the general concensus of how things are run there? I am now worried that the operation was not successful and that there are complications, but no one over there seems to care or even enquire if there is something wrong. Could someone please attend to my mother before I take this matter as high as I can possibly take it, as this is totally unacceptable for an institution supposedly giving health care. Thank you.
