Bad Treatment and attitude - Sister Memela and night shift staff

I was admitted on the 27th of October and got discharged on the 1st of November after my baby was born.. What a traumatic situation as we were sleeping on the benches, I slept on a bench with my 43 weeks huge belly for 2days and got a bed after others where discharged.

After receiving a bed the Doctor attended me and told me they going to induce me to have contractions and the inducement is 24 doses of 20ml (cytotec) u will take it every 2hours if still nothing is happening so all in all 24 doses should the inducement dont work will opt for C-section.

I took all the 24 doses luckily I had contractions on the 31st of October.... The nurses are very rude, they will put you in a heart rate monitoring machine for 30min minimum so it happened that when I was on the machine I got pressed and urgently needed to go to the bathroom, I asked the sister to go to the bathroom (sister Memela) her answer was "you have to be strong" as the machine has to finish and I endup exchanging words with her as I couldnt hold the pressure of the urine then I removed myself from the machine and go to the bathroom and when I come back she never put me back on the machine telling me I'm not the only patient I kept quiet as I wannet to deliver and go.

On the 31st at around 2am my contractions got worse and asked me to pack my bags and go to dilivery room, when I got there they put me back on the machine and checked me by then they said I'm 8cm to 10cm of delivery, they left me there alone screaming as the pain was unbearable and the other sister came and said my estimated delivery time is 5:35am I asked to be given atleast injection for pains I don't remember if they did give me or not as I was loosing my mind because of the pains.

At around 3am they came to check up on me and they told me my babies head us way to far but whenever I get contractions I used to breath in and out to help my baby to move closer, they gave me a drip and told me I will go for C-section, I asked why because I can feel my baby is moving slowly, they never answered me.. They put me the urine pack as well preparing me for C-section, at around 5am my contractions got too strong and I pushed and I could feel my babies head coming on that pipe they put inside my ****** for urine I screamed so that someone can attend me, of which she came and assisted then I delivered a healthy baby boy.

I got discharged same day, after 3 days I felt pains on my neck, head n shoulders I thought it was something that will pass, the pain kept on being stronger by a day I couldn't hardly hold my baby.

Then I decided to go see a Doctor when I get to the Doctor ge told me I'm suffering the side effects of the overdose inducement they gave, now my joints are painful all over my body

I hate Edenvale Hospital, I just pray the pains I'm feeling won't be permanent... The Treatment they giving patients at maternity are way to risky.. Some lady delivered on a bench while they were sitting in the kitchen making noise laughing.
