Lack of Security - My Loss!

The past long weekend we spent some time at Eden Park Resort and since it was a long enough break we packed our caravan and our five bicycles and off we went. My first warning sign should have been the Terms and Conditions you're supposed to sign but I wrote that off to the usual mumbo jumbo that most places have you commit to - however upon arriving at the gate after a four hour drive it was quite a surprise to note that there was not a soul manning the entrance to the park - you had to leave your vehicle and operate the gate yourself - which is not even locked. In the early hours of Monday morning we awoke to find all our bicycles were gone! They had been chained together and locked (provided courtesy of the resort) - but were nonetheless ******, right from our campsite! No offer of assistance or rebate was offered by the resort, it was pretty much just a 'oh well, that's too bad' kinda attitude received from the operators. Very dissapointing! And to top it off we are now being bombarded with emails almost on a daily basis from the resort demanding that we return a 4x10 board (supposed to hang in your car so you can enter and exit the resort) with registered post. Stay away!
