Who gave you consent to sell my credit information to 3rd parties?

Ever-since i have opened an EDCON account in December 2017, I have received a large numbers of telesales and marketing calls which have increased by almost a 100% since i have opened the edcon account. I have done investigation and found that EDCON has sold my credit information without my consent, anybody out there that can assist me with steps I can follow against edcon?
