Despite reaching out multiple times to Edcon to confirm the purchases that have been made on my account, as I suspect *****, they are unable to prove the purchases were made by me. So you know that signature you make on the electronic signature pads... its all just to make you think that they keep record of it. They aren't actually able to pull these records to show you that purchases have been made by you.
Now they have reported me to their collections department as my account is in arrears. I have paid the minimum amount, not to get reported to debt collectors, but they keep harassing me with emails and sms'es insisting on more payments, even though they can't prove these purchases were made by me.
Don't you get so annoyed when you call them and they insist the call is recorded? But then you have to explain your issue over and over and over and over and over again to each person without them ever resolving it. I WISH they WOULD listen to the recordings, cause I'm so tired of explaining to them that I don't owe them money... they owe me an explanation of who purchased on my account. But nonetheless, it will impact my credit scoring and not their reputation.
