Just to start off with – Stone harbour jeans have always been my “value for money” alternative to Levis and have been buying them for 15 years I think

Every year or couple of months I buy 4 to 6 pairs of jeans at Edgar’s

In the past 6 months I have bought 6 pairs of Stone harbour and 2 Levis

I know I am a rather bulky chap (size 40 or 42) (that’s a nice way of saying fat) but I have already returned 3 pairs of Stone harbour jeans as they have within 6 months either split at the back or torn at the crotch (northgate and clearwater mall stores)

This morning was a fourth pair of jeans that were only 4 months old (one of the ones that I have exchanged) that split along the backside stitching and tore past the pocket

The quality of these jeans have become terrible – they fade easily and seem to tear after a couple of month

I will not be buying any more of these jeans ever again. This is would like an answer to

No I do not have the original purchase slips – who keeps clothing slips for more than 4 months … do you … ? hell I don’t…

I also do not want to exchange these jeans as I do not want to go through the inconvenience , embarrassment and hassle of having to deal with poor quality jeans tearing when at work or away from home

I would have sent this email to stone harbour but cannot find any contact address – (makes one wonder if its on purpose that these details are hidden to the general public)

As I am pretty sure this email will result in no action – myself and my family will now spend our yearly clothing spree at other stores and not anywhere close to the edcon group considering the quality of clothes they support …
