Still poor as always

On the 8th of December I visited one of the Edcon stores, Jet in the mall near my house. I went there to purchase some clothes for my children and were looking for some shorts for myself. I purchased 2 shorts, one was an Enrico Rossi belted short and the other was the home brand Network, both in size 36, as thi s is the size I've been wearing for over 2 years now. When I got home, I fitted both the shorts just to make sure (I do not fit in the fitting rooms as most of the time they are dirtier then my 7 year old twin's bathroom). When I fitted the Rossi, it fitted fine, but when I fitted the Network, it was way to small. I made sure that it was not a tagging or labeling error, but all were the same, 36. Now I had to go back to the mall, on MY time, having to pay parking with MY money as Jet's homebrand sizing is incorrect. When I got to the shop, I looked for the next size, 38, and found a pair, but something told me to just check the difference in size between the 38 and 36, to my supprise, the 38 and 36 were exactly the same size, now how would that be possible? I took another pair of shorts in 38, and this were bigger than the 36 and the other 38. When does two size 38's not measure the same in lenth, isnt 38 inces 38 inces. I called the staff member to assist me, but all that she could say was EISH. So how many other customers had to now go back to your shops as your sizing is clearly wrong? At home I fitted the 38 and it fitted like the Rossi 36. How does this happen and how is this possible, does someone not check your suppliers on a regular basis. Now I understand why you are loosing market share, and if it was not for the gift voucher that I received I would have gone to Mr Price.

To add to all this, when I asked the staff member if she know who Mr Bernie Brooks are, she said she never heard of him. From this it looks as if the CEO is not in tune with his staff on the floor.

What upsets me is that I had to now take an hour of my time, and seeing that I'm self employed lost the income for that hour, to go to your store, now also having to pay parking, BECAUSE EDCON DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO PROPER SIZING AND FROM THE LOOKS OF IT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE A MEASURING TAPE. If the banks know what I do, they would never have bailed the company out. My other question is how many customer purchased this wrong sized item and do not have the confidence to take it back, and how many managers were confronted with this problem and did nothing about it?

Just to show you that I'm not just being unfair, I have added a photo that clearly shows the 3 items, sizes recorded on the labels and the difference in waiste size.
