Ridiculous charges on new Edgards card!!
<p>I recently had to closed my Edgars card due to a ridiculous amount they are charging for a replacement card. I wanted to use my Edgars card to pay for medical fees at Medicross Dental. The card did work due to a scratched magnetic strip and was advised to get a new card from Edgars. When i approcahed to have a new card issued I was informed that R50 will be charged to my account for a new card replacement. This is a new instructions from Head Office according to the Consultant who assisted me a Cape Gate branch. A whopping R50 for a plastic card?? This is ridicolous if you ask me!!! And they make it as if it is nothing as it will be charged to your account and you pay it over 6 months interest free i presume. By the tiime you finish paying it off the plastic card would have been faded already. This very pathetic service from Edgars and with my account (***) closed which I had for ALMOST 10 YEARS I WILL NOT MISS THE SERVICE. Will me save me R50 every 3 months or so. </p>
