I was an employee of Edcon and had resigned at the end of February 2015 after serving a full months notice. I submiited all the necessary documents with regards to my resignation I had requested for a cash payout of my Provident funds and was told i would receive payment within 3 months. When the waiting period had lapsed i had received no payment of the funds and i went and enquired i was told my withdrawal claim had not been received. I then went to my manager Zamafa Ngobese who was responsible for the submission of these documents she refused to communicate with me and sent her subordinate to make me fill the forms again and to submitt stating she will not come to me herself as she is not obliged to answer to an ex employee. I then got assisted after much hassle and the forms were submiited. When i contacted the HR contact centre to verify i was told my tax number was missing and i have to submitt the forms again.I then submiited the forms again myself after communicating with Tsholofelo Masina who had sent me the forms via email but never responded. From then i have been sent from Pillar to post with no assistance wish edcon would value people, integrity and professionalism.
Best regards,
