Provident Fund

I worked at a Retail store(Edgars) for a period of 4 years from 2015- 2020 Due to Retrenchment by the store we were offered to apply for a Retrenchment packages of which most of us did if not everyone. I then received a mail that my package had been approved for payment month end August. It was unfortunate that I got dismissed 11 August which is the same month I had app**** and was approved of my awaiting package.

I then contacted my manager because my salary that month was not enough, was not even close to basic. I also enquired about my package and the response was that they will check with HR but they are busy with it, so I never got a response till this day.

I then decided to apply for my Provident Fund handed in my withdrawal forms on the 6th of August which was said to be 12 week(3months) waiting period to process payment. Supposed to have got payment end of November which I did not receive.

I never got even a single response or any form of communication. I only get updates from co-colleagues that were fortunate to be mailed personaly nothing is clear at this moment as they are quiet. Its been a long 4 months without work and without any form of income.
