Processing Account Protection Plan without my Authorisation

Dear Sir/Madam A lady called me some 2 weeks ago with regard to Account Protection or Partner Protection Plan Cover. I was very busy and I told her I was busy and cannot talk to her. I asked her to call later so that she can explain/educate me on the product to me. She did not call me and today 26 October 2019 I receive an sms informing that they are processing the product, that I do not have an idea of. Please do not process it I do not want it and I will never want it. Thanks. My Account No. is ***. I am not interested.

Kindly Be advised that the account protection plan which is being billed on your account is mandatory on all Edcon accounts opened after September 2011. This insurance can only be cancelled if you have alternative credit life insurance and a copy of the policy documents are submitted to Edcon as proof hereof.
