Poor Service Delivery and *********** employees

I bought a phone March 2013 at Jet sandton Huawei R 1999.99 and was advised to take insurance should it get lost ****** or broken they do cover and was told there'll be access to pay with every claim you make depending on the causes.

I lost my phone about a week ago went to Jet Eloff street to lay my claim. On the 20th May I got a call from a guy called Sandile who told me claim approved however for R1699 and I asked him why for less amount I bought that phone for R1999.99 and I've been paying insurance for over 3years no claims nothing. He couldn't answer and told me to come to the store he knows nothing we need to call customer service I asked him for customer service number I'll call them before I come to the store he refused to give me the number he told me he has the number they dual from the store it starts with *something. I then Google phoned *** chose option2 then 1 it was around 12:12 the call took 3:30 the consultant hang up on me after being frastrated when he told me they don't deal with that I must call insurance. I told her I was never told of any third party insurance as a client I understood that I'm dealing with Edcon therefore when ever I have queries they will assist. I then went to Jet Eloff I was assisted by lady Dineo Digabane at around 14:15pm who told me insurance is paid according to the current value of the phone. I told her was never told that when I bought this phone and I was never going to take the insurance because of that decreasing value of the phone. I'm very very angry crossed with Edcon I took effort to find out why the outcome of that claim however no one is willing to explain and give me proper feedback. I want the same amount of the phone that I bought as I was never told all this nonsense when I bought that phone and took that insurance. Edcon is very *********** and don't look after the interests of their clients. My details: *** cell no: ***.
