Please resolve your debt fairly

I had an account at Edgars which was handed to MBD then I was offered a settlement discount, I settled the account but till today it's still reflecting on my credit profile with an outstanding balance of R2346.00 . I've contacted MBD for my settled letter seeing that I've settled the account with them but they gave me a number to call Edcon for the letter when I called them they told me I still have an outstanding balance, I told them I've settled the account. They promised to send the letter to my postal address they never did when I called again I gave them an email address to send the letter to but still nothing.
