Paying for Something but you do not know What it is.
Hi, we have an Edgars account which has been paid-up for a long time. We have not used it in a very long time. Yet, we get phone call after phone call for outstanding payments. Random amounts. It started with R150. After many phone calls and tweets about this I eventually paid it for peace as they phoned daily. It went quiet for a while then it started again. This time for R250. Nobody could tell us what it is for, no e-mail I sent ever received a reply. The store in the Mall nearby could not help. I took to Twitter again and received a response/apology and I was advised to contact RCS. They could not help. So to get rid of the phone calls and the total lack of interest and inefficiency I paid R250. Again for a while it was quiet and now it is starting again this time for R170. I have now called everyone. One number I called the person simply said "we cannot help you" and put down the phone. Then I called back and another person gave me another number only to be told "we cannot help you" This is ridiculous and I will not for a third time pay for something which I did not spend as I have not been inside an Edgars store in years. What nonsense is this? If Edcon is in dire straits to make money why not make it by selling product and providing a good service. This is nothing but poor and *********** practice. I would like to hear how many other people are done out of money they surely did not spend in the store. Kind Regards.
