Pathetic service

The service (not that I'm getting any) from the Jet and Edgars helpline is appalling. I bought a cell c sim card on the 01st September and called cell c customer helpline to request for a sim swap as i wanted to keep my number, however i was told that they cant assist and that i need to call the Jet and Edgars helpline. I did as I was told and called the Jet and Edgars helpline on Sunday the 02nd of September and i was advised by one of they're consultants that my request has been sent through and my old number would be moved to my new sim in 24 to 48 working hours.

I then called again on Wednesday the 5th of September to ask them what was going on as the sim swap hadn't happened. I spoke to a consultant by the name of Petunia who gave me a reference number and assured me that my request had been in fact sent through and that the swapping of numbers would be done the next day which was the 6th of September.

Today is the 12th, almost 2 weeks later and my old number has not been moved to my new sim card. I am running a business and have lost a lot of clients due to them not being able to get a hold of me. I need this matter to be resolved as in yesterday!!!!!! This is pathetic!!!

I just called your offices and spoke to Brenda. All I am requesting for is a SIM SWAP. The reason Cell C could not do it for me is because they told me that my cell number is a contract number, hence they referred me to Edcon. So now my 1st question is (and please give me a straight answer without telling me about me about RMCS) when did i sign up for this contract? Date and time. Secondly, I need you guys to send me a copy of this contract with my signature on it, because surely for one to enter into a contract agreement, there should be a written agreement signed by the consumer. At the end of my call with Brenda which I made at 11:22 this morning, I asked her to please advise me as to when I signed up for this alleged contract, she then asked me to wait on the line, put me on mute for over 10 minutes and came back to tell me that I am NOT actually on contract. Now that contradicts what Cell C told me. Cell C told me that the reason they can not assist me with the sim swap is because my number is on contract, hence they referred me to Edcon. My request is extremely simple. I purchased a new nano Cell C sim card, my old sim is a micro sim which obviously does not fit in my new phone. I am requesting for my old number which is on the micro sim to be transferred on to my new nano sim. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK???? Brenda advised me that this will be resolved in 48 hours. I will be giving you the benefit of the doubt and say my number will be moved to my new sim on Monday the 17th September 2018, failing which i will be contacting the Ombudsman and I hope the contract I apparently signed will be sent to me. Regards
