Paid up account now due again.

On the 24th of June 2014 I contacted the Edcon office to make arrangements for my husbands account to be paid up. We were made to understand that the payment is to be made in 2 parts and after this the settlement letter would be sent to us.After making the payments, the consultant then said I have to make another payment and she cannot guarantee that my husband's name will be cleared as we where applying for a home loan.Then I logged a complaint at Hello Peter on 2nd July 2014 tired of being thrown back and forth. I finally get through and communication between DC holdings and myself was made for us to settle the account at +-R2000.00 after making the payment we where still awaiting the settlement letter and then after a year July 2015 we get a phone call from Edcon saying the amount is outstanding. I contacted Edcon 22.07.2015 to ask about the situation and the confrim that there is a amount of +-R2000.00 outstanding. Where did this amount come from?They then reffered us to DC holdings. What happend to the amount we agreed to pay to DC holdings? DC holdings now claim that they have no affiliation with Edcon!! So now another debt collector SSDA want us to make another payment 2000.
