Not much done!!!!!!!!!

My husband app**** for an account at Jet online, and lastweek he got a call from Edcon but missed the call.He then went in to the shop to find put if its been approved or not.When they check they said its been declined CAUSE THEY COULDNT GET HOLD OF HIS EMPLOYER!!!!!how the heck do u just decline cos u cant get hold of the employer did they even make effort to make contact with the employer.I think thats a really stupid reason and now he cant apply again!!!!!!!!!!!!!Can someone pls explain that to me!!!!!!!!!!!!
