Nobody cares

took my fone in for repairs just after 3months I bought it and still hasn't been fixed. Complainedi to Edcon I was told the best they could do for me is to get the faulty phone back to the shop and I can fetch it from there in the same not working condition. They can't help me. But what's funny is that I'm still paying for a phone I only used for 3 months how unfair. Whers the respect to the little earnings I make to buy a phone, yet I'm loyal to paying of an account of something I'm not owning. So they get their money whilst I don't have a phone. Shame on u guys if that's how you treat your loyal customers. How does it make sense to tell some1 to fetch a fone that's not working but still pay for it. Edcon disrespects their customers or maybe some like us who have no lawyers to take the case further. Keep treating people like that and I hope 1 day someone will stand against your worse service and do something on our behalf as well. Your services sucks. Will Try expose you to the social media, just for others to know as well how u treat your loyal paying customers. You can keep my broken phone in your store,I maybe of a low class but not as desperate to fetch a broken phone.

Hello nkolodube,

Please be advised the cell phone was sent to the network provider to be repaired (cost free) as the cell phone was under supplier guarantee/warranty.

When the cell phone was assessed by network provider the report advised the cell phone was physically damaged, due to the cell phone being physically damaged you will be liable to pay the repair fee as the supplier does not cover physical damage.

The customer is then giving the option to have the cell phone repaired however will pay for the repair cost or the cell phone can be sent back to the store where by the customer can have is repaired privately.

Your reference number is ***/GO.

Kind regards,
Edcon customer experience team
