Loop hole
My house was recently broken into while we were sleeping ,I woke up to find the intruder in the house .He stole 2 phones before he got away .I submitted all the necessary documents at the Edgars branch in Wynberg.The phone that I purchased at Edgars was R2500 ,I received an SMS to say that I have to pay in an excess amount of R1800 in order to get a new phone (which I find to be ridiculous).I called in and they say that I claimed within the 90 day period and it says so in the policy .I understand this but point 4 says that you are insured from the moment you take the phone.<br> I did not ask to be ****** and we are so lucky that no one was injured with the exception that we all are traumatised by the incident .Why is it that when you have a legitimate claim they always look for a loophole .<br> <br> I need this issue to be resolved ASAP<br> <br>
