Jet Store Garankuwa worse client service
<p><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">To whom it may concern:</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">I am writing to you to file a complaint about the bad service and horribly experience I had at Jet store in Ga-Rankuwa on Saturday 07 May 2016 at 14:35. When I went to exchange clothes that were bought the very same day and less than an hour of my arrival. It is very sad to witness employees ( cashier and manager at credit office) of such a large and respected chain store behave in such a manner.</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">My dad bought clothes for my 3 month old son. Now because the old man was not sure of sizes. He did a wise thing by picking up his phone & giving the shop assistant to confirm with me exactly what size to buy. I said 6 to 12 months. Oh but the lady decided to give him 3 to 6.</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">I did not have a problem. Must have been a honest mistake. My dad had to go back home. So I took the clothes and original receipt. Got to the store & took clothes of the same value but correct size. Got to the credit office and the cashier didn't even care what i had to say. Did not check my receipt against what I'm changing to; nothing. She just said she was trained to scan cash card before any transaction & that is all. When I kept asking and stating why at other stores they help us, she referred me to her manager who was just standing & listening. </span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Oh to add pain to injury. The so called manager just said ' yes I do hear u, but get the cash card and we will help you. Then carried on with her work.</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Really, is that what it has come to?</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">What happened to exchanging gifts as long as it's the same value.</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">This was the same transaction, same day, same shop, less than an hour apart.</span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Now there is no way that my old dad is going to drive 72km again just to bring a gift card and I refuse to sit with clothes I do not want. </span><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><br style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;" /><span style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">In conclusion, I am referring this matter to you because I am hoping for a reasonable solution and wish that this matter will be settled immediately as everything that transpired has caused a great deal of stress and hassle on my part.</span></p>

Hi,
The Edcon Client Experience team finally contacted me and helped resolve my complain. Mrs Tokedi who is the Store Manager at Ga-rankuwa was also quite friendly & helpful when I returned the clothes. And yes there was no need for the cash card as the previous ladies had insisted.
I really appreciate what the Edcon Client Experience team did for me and hope such is not repeated. One can only think how many people got turned back only because of a cashier who was too lazy to do her job.
Thanks again Mrs TokediTokedi
