Inability to service

I bought a Hisense Television set from Jet Stores Mamelodi in Pretoria June of 2016. The TV came with a 3yr warranty. About a month ago, the unit started malfunctioning and I reported the matter to Hisense&Jet. The process itself did not take very long(about a week) to complete and was finalised. They ruled that the unit cannot be replaced as they(Jet/Hisense) do not have the units in stock anymore(fair enough), so the credits will be due to me(I was happy, but not satisfied). They mentioned that the credit of the purchase value will be credited to my Edcon account. I am extremely unhappy with the fact that I will "receive" the credits on my account..cause I purchased a TV and feel that I should either be getting another TV or Cash voucher to purchase another TV. According to Jet, they're doing away with appliance and will no longer be stocking Televisions...Can someone from Edcon/Jet please get this sorted!! I purchased a TV, I want a TV!! A "solution" would be a cash voucher to enable me to purchased what I initially intended to purchase!!

I am not happy with the response I got from Edcon, I will definitely log a case with CPA. I just thought it would be fair to give you an opportunity to fix it before we go that far.
