Handed over account paid up with discount

I had a account with Jets and fell on hard times and could not pay my account.I eventually got back on my feet and then I started to pay the account and then the lawyer I was dealing with Anthony,Richards and Associates and I was told I can pay the account off with a discount worked on the account.I paid the last installment and confirmed with them at the lawyers that it is been paid and they confirmed that it is all up to date.Now I get a sms from VVM attorneys that I have to still pay R368.08 to prevent legal action against me when I told this attorney that this account has been paid off I don't owe anything on this account they informed me I need to pay the discounted amount as well or they will start legal action against me.I contacted the previous attorneys and they said Edcon has to take that amount off their system and they are the only ones that can do it no they hand me over to the other attorneys to get the last amount from me which I think this is unfair and then my name is still on the black list because they don't do their job properly and I still owe money on a account that was paid off last year or so I thought.
