\Gentle reminders"call of desperation"""

On 07 September I received a call from Edcon call centre, stating I owed them payment, after paying more than I owed a the end of August. I then received another call on 09 September, 11 September and an sms on 14 September. Each time, I requested a copy of my latest statement to be sent through and made it clear I would not pay a dime until I received the statement. I then received a call 15 September, stating if I did not pay immediately, I would be registered as a slow payer on credit bureaux. I once again asked for my statement and date payment is due. It was confirmed they were demanding payment for my statement due 01 October. I asked for the amount due and again paid more than I was supposed to. On 19 September, I bought items on my account and was told to pay in an additional R200. Is Edcon trying to make up lost sales since being caught out on their \sale markdowns"???? And now people like myself have to pay the price!"""
