Faulty blender

I was given a Boardmans gift voucher in January so paid in and purchased a Salton Blender, after two months I noticed a carbon burning smell coming from the appliance, I took it in to Eastgate where they exchanged it for me for another Salton blender. The same thing happened after the same period of time. This appliance is used to blend a smoothly not mix cement. I took it in to the East Rand Mall where the manager wanted to send it in for assessment and repairs, this I declined this machine was not even 2 months old. I would be happy to pay in for another make of blender altogether. I have written numerous emails to customer care and keep getting a reply that it is being dealt you with and now escalated to urgent. Seriously!<br> This has been going on for almost 3 months now. Is there no one at Edcon who is capable of dealing with my complaint? Apparently not.<br> I am sure my latest email will also fall on deaf ears.
