FAILURE to provide proof of signature on cellphone insurance document
Edgars billed me for cellphone insurance without my consent and only made me aware of it once i paid my contract up in full. I was never made aware that i was being billed and at the end of my contract i was told i owe an amount of R5600 and that a judgement was was logged against my name with the Credit Bureaus. When i asked for proof that i consented to the cellphone insurance i was told that the documents are in storage, i then paid them in full to have the judgement removed from my name and requested the proof once again. i was told it would take 20 days. i waited for 30 days and called, i was told that i have to wait another 7 days because they cant find the reference for the courier the documents were sent with. I know they do not have any proof that i signed for cellphone insurance because i didn't sign for it at all. I find this to be ******** and unprofessional as i was not given any reference numbers or tracking numbers. the only document that was sent to me after i requested it twice was the proof of payment which i made to them. i would like Edgars to be honest and reimburse me with the money i paid. my account number is ********** ********** 68590
