EXTREMELY DISSATIFIED CUSTOMER - REFERENCE NO : ***/GO

I made an EFT payment to my Edgars account on 23.04.2016 and made an error of paying R8000 instead of R800. My bank was unable to reverse the payment as it was an EFT to a Public recipient. I went into Edgars at Cresta and they called customer services for me and they had hung up twice on the consultant at the Edgars store that was trying to assist me. I was then called by a consultant from customer services and spoke to a lady, unfortunately I did not get her name, I explained the situation and was told that I need to submit my ID, bank statement and a letter explaining what happened and then only can they reverse the payment. The lady at Edgars Cresta told me it will take 2 to 3 weeks and I said that it was unacceptable. The lady on the phone told me that if I sent the documents by Monday I will be refunded by Friday, 29.04.2016. On Monday morning I sent all the required documents and when I called customer services to find out if my documents have been received and when can I expect a refund I was told that the admin department handles this and I cannot speak to anyone there, I must wait and it will take about 2 to 3 weeks to be refunded. I called customer services about 4 times and when I asked to speak to a manager I was just left hanging and eventually had to hang up as they just left me on hold. No one bothered to call me back. I then received an email yesterday advising it will take 21 days, I then received a further email from customer relations with a reference number advising matter has been escalated but no time frame and no one has called me. This is just unacceptable, as I am aware it was an error on my part however the money has already reflected in their account on Monday, 25.04.2016. How long does it take to process a refund????? I need my money urgently as explained in my letter and my emails to them. Can someone please advise how long this will take as I cannot wait 21 days. Once my account is paid up I no longer wish to deal with Edgars due to their pathetic service and I have been a customer over 10 years.
