Edgars refuses to take back faulty phone after 3 days

Bought a phone at Edgars, Port Elizabeth in Greenacres Mall, which is a Nokia MTN phone. After 3 days the screen got faulty with white stripes. When returning the phone on that 3rd day. They refused to take back the phone although they have a seven day return policy.
