Edgars & RCS - ****s and *******

Since RCS has taken over the Edcon group, they have managed to ***** from their clients on a monthly basis. I have been fighting with RCS / Edgars for over a year now, as I signed for a 6 month interest free account, yet, they have decided to put random purchased under the revolving credit section! They have been charging interest, on both store and web-site purchases, and when I complain, it takes months to get a response. Then I would get a monthly interest charge credited, but the account is not fixed.

I received a response from Edgars to say "Congratulations! Your account has been transferred to a 6 months interest free account" - what the actual!! Thats the account I signed up for years ago!! But still, 2 months later, I am still sitting with an amount under revolving credit

And these people just dont care. No one phones you, no one responds. And the lies... being told that online purchases do not qualify as interest free purchases - but funny thing, no one can (or will) tell me where this is stipulated. I have read through both Edgars and RCS's T&C's and I was not able to find anything.

I am now seeking legal advise, as I am sure that I am not the only customer that they are *****ing from.

Stop supporting this company, and all its affiliates. They are part of the problem - part of what is wrong with out country.
