Edgars is breaking the law

I am an Edgars customer and I have had the unfortunate event of having a 'Parent Insurance' randomly added on my account without my consent. Back in 2016 I asked for this to be removed as I was not told about it, I spotted it on my statement which I rarely look at. I was not refunded neither did I ever see a document that I signed taking this up. Now,after not getting my statements for reasons not known to me since August 2017 I find the 'Parent Insurance' on my statement again. A call centre agent says some store added it in January and they cannot process a refund but stop it. My issue is this, they will remove it and someone will add it again without my permission. This is against the National Credit Act. Edgars is breaking the law, everyone should scrutinize their statements because you'll be throwing away your money every month on a product you don't use or need.
