Edgars account nightmare

I had an Edgars account that was handed over to Daly Credit Corporation, towards the end of May 2020 I received a call from them they gave me a settlement offer, I settled the account in June 2020 after settling the account I called them to confirm the payment I made, they told me that it reflects on their system that I made a payment and they will send me the paid up letter within 6 weeks till today I have not received the paid up letter, they are telling me that they are waiting for Edcon to send it them. Last month I received a call from MBD telling me that my Edgars account has been handed over to them I need to pay my account, they are calling me every day and I have been explaining myself to them over and over again, I called and emailed Daly Credit Corporation they are telling me that they have sent an agent email to Edcon for them to send my paid up letter but still nothing.
