Edcon unable to trace IFT payment

It so happens I made a payment of R300.00 on my account on 9 June 2016. Shortly thereafter endless sms messages and mails from Edcon to pay my account. I wrote several times to say that I have made payment of R300 requesting that the arrears amount be updated on my statement. I received various electronically generate "acknowledgement of e-mail received" from Edcon. On 19 June email from Edcon :Good Day Miss Van Bosch, Account Number: ********** ********** 68172, In response to your email received, we hereby confirm that we have received the payment of R300.00 on the 9th June 2016. The payment will reflect on your next statement. Should you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us via the below mentioned contact details. Nwabisa Makhanya Customer Services Administrator | | Edcon Financial Services . NEEDLESS TO SAY THE AMOUNT DID NOT REFLECT ON MY STATEMENT. Again I wrote e-mails to various departments and this was the response from EDCON: 19 JUNE 2016 Good Day Miss Van Bosch, Account Number: ********** ********** 68172,In response to your email received, the payment in question does not reflect on your account. Kindly provide us with proof of payment to enable us to further assist on your query.Should you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us via the below mentioned contact details.Nokuthula NhlaphoCustomer Services Administrator | | Edcon Financial Services. THEN A LETTER OF DEMAND ON 12 JUNE FROM EDCON, reference number C22. I produced proof of payment which I mailed to NOKUTuHLA NHLAPO. No answer and then again a letter of demand and another sms demanding payment. Would you suggest I make more EFT payments that cannot be traced by you? Thank heavens the amount paid was only R300! I am currently nowhere near a town with Edgars offices, or Boardmans or any of the list that you suggest I visit with my query. I do not see why this cannot be resolved, but sending mails and sms's to your clients work just fine for you. Or should I request someone from your offices visit me, bearing in mind that I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 15 YEARS??? Suggesting I phone your call centre is ridiculous for whast reason? I have proof of all mails sent to your archermail.co.za, accountsjhb.co.za, accountsCTN.co.za Nokuthula Nhlapo as well as Nwabisa Makhanya. FROM 21ST JUNE when I noticed that the R300 payment did not reflect on my account UP AND UNTIL TODAY. I WILL NOT BE MAKING ANY EFT PAYMENTS UNTIL THIS MATTER WAS RESOLVED AND UNTIL YOU CAN EXPLAIN TO ME HOW MY PAYMENT WENT MISSING ON YOUR SIDE. OR SHOULD I, IN GOOD FAITH MAKE THE R1900 PAYMENT THAT YOU ARE NOW REQUESTING FROM ME? Another sms FROM EDCON that reads as follows: "immediate payment is due on your Edcon acc: ********** Please pay ? @c**** to prevent further action being taken. Please ignore if alread" AND THATS WHERE IT ENDS. WHAT IS THIS? CLEARLY SOMETHING WRONG ON THE TECHNICAL SIDE OF THINGS or perhaps the person(s) typing out this nonsense??? IF YOU COULD PLEASE RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AND ALSO SEND ME WRITTEN CONFIRMATION THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN LISTED WITH ITC OR ANY CREDIT LISTING COMPANY. I have been a happy customer until now. THERE IS CLEARLY A LACK OF COMMUNICATION OR EFFORT ON YOUR SIDE. More than 8 e-mails from my side sent to 4 of your e-mail addresses = estimated on 32 MAILS AND STILL NOT SOLVED!!! The time it takes for me to write and read all this nonsense can never be refunded. ATTACHED, against my good will and wishes, A SCREENSHOT OF THE PAYMENT AS REFLECTED ON MY INTERNET BANKING. After this I am writing to every other customer/consumer website that I can possibly find seeing that I had to spend almost an hour now compiling this, might just as well spend another hour informing the public of this unacceptable lack of service from your side.
