Edcon sucks
A ********** Edgar's account was once opened against my name at Edgar's. I then followed up with Edgar's to close the account. After several attempts of not winning, I decided to list my complaint on hellopeter. It was only then that the account was closed. Now I tried to open a credit account and could not qualify because my name appears as a bad payer due to Edcon's collections department having failed to clear my name on their side. Again I made a few calls to their ***** department and chatted to Charmain kester for more than 3 times. She keeps on promising me that she will resolve this query with their edcon department. To date, nothing has been resolved and its been more than a month since I have been chatting to her. I am no longer sure on what to do to have this resolved. What a useless collections division of Edcon & its employees.

08 Nov 2018, 13:31I have 1000 of reference numbers from the same Edgar's yet this issue has not yet been resolved. The response from above is not too different from what everyone else at Edgars has been telling me, "we will get back to you". What's so difficult about lifting the block that you, yourself instated?
Now I can't buy my kids a house because of the useless Edgar's. Come one guys. Do what makes sense and stop promising to call.
You did not even mention the possible date & time when I should expect the call. Look how generic your response is. Its like you all are nothing but programmed robots to say one same thing to all customers. " we will get back to you"
