Edcon stopping me from progressing with my life

I opened my account when I was still in university and when openned it the agreement was that my mother would be in charge of it in case I was unable to pay. I couldn't pay it for a while and I was handed over to lawyers but when I got a job I settled it in 2015. My problem now is that they blacklisted my mom and then also blacklisted me in the process. They knew very well I am a student and I wouldn't always have the money to pay so now I can not even buy anything due to something that happened while I was not working. I need to buy my first car but a blacklist due to less than 1000 rands is stopping me from doing anything in my life. If you are going to hold a young person's life please dont give them this accounts. I am frustrated and I dont even know what to do right now. They have really stopped me from progressing in my life after all the studying and trying to make something of myself.
