Edcon's inconsistent processes

<p>So I have a Edcon cash card, but I keep a record of it on my phone(less cards in wallet) and use it to EARN points when I purchase. I simply hand the device to the cashier, she captures the number, validates my name and I walk away having earned some points. I have been doing this for more than 2 years already.</p> <p>To BURN points however, I understood the security concern (while we catch up with first worlds), that required me to present the physical card. And so I do.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today, at the CNA at Centurion Mall, the manager, Veeda insists that I must swipe my physical card irrespective of whether I and burning or earning points! When I queried when this process changed (the earn process), she confidently says that it has always been the rule, and that other branches may just not be applying the rule.</p> <p> </p> <p>C'mon Edcon, don't make your process inconsistencies the clients problem. While I don't agree with any security issue regarding the EARN process(what will a ******** do, EARN points for me), if your rule was consistently app****, my adherence to it will be much easier.</p> <p>A polite sorry for any inconvenience (as offered by Veeda), does nothing to elleviate my frustration with your brand! </p> <p> </p>
